Sumo Club Demonstration at Nisei Week

The start time for Sunday, August 13th at the JACCC Plaza (244 S. San Pedro St. Las Angeles) is 1:30 PM and ends at 2:30 PM.

1:30 - 1:35 Announce the Sumo wrestlers.
1:35 - 1:45 A brief history of Sumo and it's origin.
1:45 - 1:50 A summary of the rules.
1:50 - 2:00 Show common winning techniques and strengthening exercises.
2:00 - 2:30 Demonstrate Sumo matches to the crowd and answer questions.
